First Open Singles Win for Aisling Posted on May 24, 2010
At the 25th Kikenny Open, Aisling Hickey from the Rossmore club in Co Tipperary, won her first Women`s Open Singles title. In the final she defeated number one seed Donna Ryder(Newport) by 2 games to 1. Noel O`Callaghan followed up on his Irish Open victory with a 2 games to 1 win over Adam Neary(Arklow) in the Mens Open Singles Final. The Mens Open Doubles was won by the Fermoy pairing of Seane Keane and Patrick Hanley who is making a return to top flight racquetball. The Womens Doubles winners were Aisling Hickey and Kate Ryan from Rossmore.

O`Callaghan bounces back to win Irish Open Posted on May 04, 2010
After being troubled by a knee injury for a greater part of the season, Noel O`Callaghan (Fermoy) bounced back to win the Mens Singles at the 29th Irish Open in Arklow. O`Callaghan defeated Adam Neary of Arklow in the final. Both players combined to win the Mens Doubles defeating Sean Keane and Jonn O`Keeney. Donna Ryder(Newport) kept up her consistent form by winning the Womens Singles defeating Katie Kenny (Castlebar)who was making her first appearance in a Womens Singles Final. Consolation however for Kenny when she partnered Majella Haverty to win the Womens Doubles.
