Tune in to RTE 2 on Sunday at 2.10pm to see highlights from the All Ireland Racquetball Championships played in Kingscourt 2 weeks ago. The program will feature highlights from the Mens Singles final and the Womens Singles Final





O`Callaghan returns to win 18th National Title

Noel O`Callaghan returned to the All Ireland Singles Championships to win his 18th Singles title. The Fermoy man who was beaten in last year in the semi final of the Mens Singles made amends in winning 30th All Ireland Singles with a 2 - 1 win over club mate Patrick Hanley. In the Womens Singles Ciara McManamon (Newport) retained her All Ireland Crown with 2 games to 1 victory over her twin sister Clodagh.

RTE OB Sport to cover All Ireland Singles Championships

OB Sport from RTE will film the Mens Open Singles Final and the Womens Open Singles Final on Sunday March 8th in Kingscourt. Highlights from both finals will be broadcast on OB Sport on Saturday 21st March.

A Speedy Recovery to Ruairdhi O`Rourke

A very speedy recovery is wished to Ruardhi O`Rourke (Kingscourt) who was seriously injured in a football match last weekend. Ruairdhi was a member of the Irish Junior Racquetball Team which competed in the Junior World Championships in Arizona and Bolivia. His many friends in racquetball wish him a return to perfect health in the coming weeks.
